JonCarlo Oren is the author of America’s Shadow Government: The Rise of the Fourth Branch and Not Without a Fight: Reclaiming Humanity in the Age of AI. His writing focuses on government accountability, technological change, and the essential role of human judgment and personal responsibility in modern society. Oren’s authorial work is grounded in extensive real-world experience across public service, construction management, and facilities operations. Throughout his career, he has supported complex federal construction projects involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) at mission-critical government installations. His past operational roles—including Quality Control Manager with BL Harbert International, Facility Support Supervisor with The Building People, and Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Manager with Chenega Security International—have provided him with a firsthand understanding of large-scale bureaucratic structures, operational integrity, and system oversight. In addition to his construction management career, Oren served as a former Pennsylvania State Constable and volunteered with the NYPD Auxiliary from 1998 to 2006.
